​London faces enormous opportunities as well as significant challenges.

We need more homes, better transport, stronger local economies, safer communities and renewed confidence in how the city is run. I don't believe any one organisation, profession or political party has all the answers.

​My campaign is being built around bringing London's experience together to develop practical solutions that command broad support.

This isn't a campaign based on ideology. It's based on evidence, experience and conversation. Over the coming months I'll be travelling across London, meeting people from every walk of life, listening carefully and developing an independent manifesto that reflects the city's diversity and ambition.

​BUILDING THE MANIFESTO

Good ideas don't emerge from closed rooms. They come from open discussion. Throughout the campaign we'll be holding roundtables, visiting communities, meeting businesses and listening to experts as we develop the policies that will form the final manifesto. We want Londoners to help shape that conversation.
